Ave Maria Children’s Home
The home is located in the interior region towards Sakleshpur. The home was started with the aim of providing education to the children of daily wagers in coffee estates and farmer’s children. The opportunity helped many children to get educated who otherwise would be drop outs since they need to travel through hills and fields to the School. This hostel has facility for both boys and girls. Presently there are 56 children.
Apart from academic studies, the management makes extra efforts to teach children on basics mannerisms, civic sense, life skills and communications skills to groom the
children. Activities are conducted to develop in children various cognitive and critical thinking skills essential for a quality living.
Maria Nilayam Children’s Home
Children’s Home is located in Owk which is a Mandal. It was established in the year 2003. Here the parents do not easily send their children. As of now there are only 11 students.
Mary Immaculate Children’s Home
The home nurtured many orphaned children abandoned by parents as bad omen and unlucky to the family. Gradually the home stopped taking orphaned children as per government regulations. For some time the home was closed and now again to revive from 2014 there are children coming from families, admitted to children’s home for the purpose of Education. Presently there are 14 children. They are educate in our school. Both boys and girls are admitted in the children’s home.

Stella Maris Boarding Stella Maris Convent
Children’s Home was established in the year 1983. The home caters to farmers children from nearby villages who have no access to good schools in their place. There are 36 boys, here boys’ admissions are more compared to Girls. Children study in our school, the environment is very pleasant and quite. The home is organized and systematic, children have all opportunity to study well and make their future.

St. Mary’s Boarding
Children’s Home is located in the heart of Tumkur city. Established in the year 1965. The home has nurtured many children who were orphans, single parented. The facility was a luxury at that time to study in a children’s home. Till today the home continues to serve the education of girl children coming from villages. Presently there are 45 students.

St. Mary’s Children’s Home
Children's Home has a history spanning over a century, with its roots tracing back to the time of the First World War in 1914, when hundreds of orphaned children were sheltered and later educated within its premises. Formally established in 1925, the home is located at Chamarajpet, Bengaluru, and is run by Jeevan Pragathi Trust. Over the decades, the home has been a place of nurturing and opportunity — many of its former residents have gone on to build bright futures, and several have returned to their alma mater to contribute to the education and welfare of the children who follow in their footsteps.
About the Children and the Home
The home presently cares for 55 children, drawn largely from single-parent households and families affected by conflict, from both rural and urban areas in and around Bengaluru. The children are educated from Grade 6 through to Degree level.
Beyond academics, the management places strong emphasis on the holistic development of each child. Deliberate efforts are made to instill basic mannerisms, civic sense, life skills, and communication skills. Activities are regularly conducted to build cognitive and critical thinking abilities, equipping the children with competencies essential for quality living.

Asha Kirana
Asha Kirana is Home is a home for the Elderly, it was established in the year 2012. It is located at Shettihalli, Hassan. There are 24 women beneficiaries. The home is at an interior
village, surrounded with greenery. The environment is quite and serene. It is half an hour journey to Hassan city. There is a government primary hospital nearby. In case of
emergency we approach the PHC or we go to Hassan city for any causality.
There is a residing nurse at home. Some women capable of working for some time help in the paddy field or garden. It is like some occupation to spend time. Nutritious food is served to them. Women are free and relaxed with the time table. There are few groups visiting them some time. Volunteers from Bangalore go to conduct some sessions on Health and hygiene.
Asha Kirana
St. Theresa’s Mercy Home
St. Theresa's Mercy Home is a home for elderly women, established in 1984 and located at Dr. Rajkumar Road, Rajajinagar, within the campus of St. Theresa's Multi Specialty Hospital. The home is run by Jeevan Pragathi Trust and currently houses 35 women beneficiaries.
About the Home and Its Services
St. Theresa's Mercy Home provides holistic residential care to elderly women. Key features of the home's care model include:
- Nutritious Meals: A carefully planned menu ensures the good health and nourishment of every resident.
- Medical Care: A doctor from the adjoining St. Theresa's Multi Specialty Hospital makes regular visits, and a nurse administers routine monitoring of vital signs. In the event of a medical emergency, residents have immediate access to the hospital located within the same campus.
- Social and Emotional Well-being: Various groups visit the home regularly to engage and rejuvenate the residents. The home has also successfully facilitated the reconciliation of some residents with their families.

Ave Maria Women Welfare Centre
The Women Welfare Centre is situated in Magge, an interior village in Alur Taluk, Hassan district. The centre primarily serves women from the labour class who work in coffee estates. As their work in the estates is seasonal in nature, many of these women turn to home-based livelihoods once the coffee season concludes.
To support this transition, the centre offers training in Basic Tailoring, Embroidery, and Aari Work — skills that allow women to work at their own pace. Regular assessments and certification are included as part of the training process.
The centre also uses this opportunity to empower women through awareness programmes on health and hygiene, family care, financial literacy, personality development, and life skills. Students are additionally assisted in procuring various social security cards.
In keeping with the Trust's practice, follow-up is maintained with students over several years to track their progress and provide support wherever needed.
Ave Maria Women Welfare Centre
Our Lady of Charity Women Welfare Centre
The Women Welfare Centre is located in Pandavapura, a taluk encompassing 180 villages. Women from 8 nearby villages visit the centre, which offers a women-friendly environment designed to be a welcoming space where they can learn, relax, and pursue their aspirations.
The centre primarily serves women who work in sugarcane and paddy fields — a mixed group of young girls and elderly women. Courses offered include Basic Tailoring and Embroidery. While most courses run for 3 to 6 months, young girls who aspire to become entrepreneurs sometimes undergo up to one year of training. Occasional crash courses are also organised to help students upgrade their knowledge. Regular assessments and certification are included as part of the training process.
Beyond livelihood skills, the centre conducts awareness sessions on health and hygiene, family care, financial literacy, government schemes, personality development, and life skills. Students are also assisted in procuring various social security cards.

Our Lady Of Providence Women Welfare
The Women Welfare Centre in Kanakapura is located in Kanakapura city, towards the south of Bengaluru. The centre's work is rooted in community-based healthcare and tailoring training.
A significant part of the centre's work involves visiting families in the community to raise awareness on health and hygiene. With the support of doctors, the centre organises medical camps focused on mammography and cervical cancer. Women who wish to learn tailoring are supported through a Basic Tailoring course, with skill courses running for a duration of 3 to 6 months. Occasional crash courses are also organised to help students upgrade their knowledge.
Regular assessments and certification are included as part of the training process. Beyond tailoring, the centre conducts awareness sessions covering family care, financial literacy, government schemes, personality development, and life skills. Students are also assisted in procuring various social security cards.

St. Joseph Women Welfare Centre
The Women Welfare Centre in Chamarajnagar is dedicated to empowering rural women. The centre is designed to offer a warm and homely environment where women feel comfortable and supported. Students begin their journey with counselling and guidance, after which they are introduced to suitable livelihood courses.
The centre primarily serves women who have discontinued their studies. Courses offered include Basic Tailoring, Embroidery, and Aari Work — skills that allow women who also work in the fields to earn an income during their free time. Women who show an aptitude for digital learning are encouraged to take up Tally and Accounting, courses for which there is a notable demand in the locality. Skill courses run for 3 to 6 months, and occasional crash courses are organised to help students upgrade their knowledge. Regular assessments and certification are included as part of the training process.

St. Mary’s Social Centre For Women
The Women Welfare Centre is situated in the heart of Bengaluru and also serves as the head office of Jeevan Pragathi Trust. The centre is located in a densely populated area where most residents work as daily wagers and vendors at the well-known Krishnaraja Market (KR Market), with 4 to 6 slums in the surrounding vicinity. Its proximity to a bus stand makes it easily accessible for commuters.
The centre offers a range of courses built around the holistic development of each student. Individual attention is given to assess every student's aptitude and interests, followed by sufficient counselling before a suitable course is recommended. Courses are offered across the following sectors:
Apparel – Basic Tailoring, Embroidery, and Aari Work
Beauty & Wellness – Assistant Beauty Therapist, and short-term crash courses in Bridal Makeup, Nail Art, and Massage Therapy
Information Technology – Data Entry Operator, Tally, Accounting & GST, Banking Financial Services & Insurance, and Data Analytics
Health – General Duty Assistant and Home Health Care
All courses run for three months, followed by one month of internship. Eligibility varies — some courses require only basic qualification, while others require PUC or Degree-level education.
Students are informed about the nature of the jobs they will be entering, the challenges they may face, and areas for improvement identified through evaluation. In addition to skill-based training, students are supported with language learning, grooming, personality development, life skills, soft skills, and interview preparation — all aimed at enabling them to perform effectively in the workplace. Regular assessments and certification are part of the programme, and post-placement follow-up is carried out for one year to ensure students settle well in their roles.
The centre also conducts awareness sessions on topics such as health and hygiene, family care, financial literacy, and various government schemes. Students are additionally assisted in procuring social security cards.
St. Mary’s Women Development Centre
The Women Welfare Centre is located in the heart of Tumkur city. The centre primarily serves mothers who drop their children to school and wish to utilise their time productively, as well as young girls from nearby villages.
Courses offered at the centre include Basic Tailoring, Embroidery, and Aari Work, with regular assessments and certification included as part of the training process.
The centre also functions as an information hub for women, keeping them informed about various government schemes.
